Privacy Policy — Scrap Wings

Effective 23 September 2026 (updated for the Full Game purchase; previous version effective 25 August 2026)

Scrap Wings, published by Matane Studios, is a single-player game that plays entirely offline. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

What the game stores

Your progress — coins, purchased parts, best distances, unlocked runs, and your difficulty setting, and whether you own the Full Game — is written to the app's own private storage on your device by the Android system. It never leaves the device, and it is deleted when you uninstall the game.

What the game does not do

Buying the Full Game

The game is free to try, and one optional in-app purchase unlocks the Full Game. That purchase is made entirely through Google Play's billing system: Google collects and processes your payment details under Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service, and this game never sees them. The Android permissions the game declares for this (billing, internet, network state) come with Google's Play Billing Library and are used only to talk to Google Play.

When you buy or restore the purchase, Google Play tells the game that your Google account owns the Full Game. The game keeps a single yes/no flag in its private storage on your device and sends nothing anywhere.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included.

Google Play data

Google Play collects its own installation and crash statistics for every app on the store, independently of this game. That data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy, not this one.

Changes

If a future version ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version is published, and the change will be called out in the release notes.
